My China Trip - Part 3

Day 6

Finally we are back at Chengdu. We decided not to follow tour group anymore and get a little adventurous. We bought bus tickets and went to Le Shan ourselves to see the big buddha statue.

Anyone who had seen the movie "Feng Yun" would remember this place..

Finally, Le Shan Da Fou..

Some claimed to see the sleeping buddha with the outline of the mountains..

The trip to Le San pretty much ends my day and it is time to head back to the city again..



Day 7

First thing in the morning we visited Du Fu Cao Tang.

Then we went to Qing Yang Gong.

After that, we dedicated the whole day to shop in the shopping centers of Changdu! Yeah!!! Bought quite a number of stuffs (which makes me so broke now!) and did maicure and pedicure. Finally, we headed back to the hotel.

Day 8

We are taking the 4 plus flight back to Singapore and since we still have some time, we went to a market where they sell all sorts of things.

After that it is a 5 hours flight back to my beloved homeland, Singapore, again. Finally back. Miss my friends sooo much and my cute hamsters.
